East Tucson, Arizona

The eastern side of Tucson, west of the University is the main residential and commercial part of the sprawling metropolis. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is located in the southern part of the area and to the north is the Rillito River.

Shopping and places to eat can be found in the El Con Mall to the west, Park Place Mall to the east and along Broadway and Speedway Boulevards running horizontally through the area. 'Tucson's Restaurant Row' at Tanque Verde Road is also located in this part of town.

Hotels and motels in east Tucson are mainly located along the main traffic arteries and offer easy access to downtown, the airport and the Santa Catalina Mountains.
